Description
One of many studies for the ‘Curtain of the Moon’, a large tapestry designed by John Coburn for the Sydney Opera House. This piece is the design for the edging of 17m in length.
This design wan’t used as the final design for the Curtain of the Moon, but his unique shapes were to be found in there instead. The curtains have been recently restored and returned to the Sydney Opera House.
